Jewelry Cleaners
Jewelries are a woman’s best friend. They are precious and valuable treasures and that is why they should be taken care of with extra pampering. While it is true that jewelries for the most part can withstand the test of time, its brilliance and utter shininess unfortunately can not last forever.
With this, jewelry cleaners are very useful to keep those jewelry pieces of yours look dazzling every time you wear them. It’s not only enough that you clean them once in a while; you have to give them proper attention. Don’t just clean it just because you’re going to use it. It is even a good practice, if time should allow, to clean your jewelries after you use them. Because even if your jewelry items are stored securely in a jewel box, the dust and dirt that have clung onto it can cause undesirable traces of minuscule smears on your jewelry items.
If your occasional jewelries need caring, what’s more with your ordinary jewelries – the ones you just wear in the house, or when you go out shopping, or those you wear in the office. Various elements and substances can definitely discolor and can sometimes disfigure your jewelry items.
Cleaning agents and chemicals you use at home can absolutely depolish your jewelries. Simple household chores like laundry will expose your jewelries to harsh detergents. Ordinary activities can also affect the luster of your jewelries. When you take a bath, you may not know that the soap can take out that shine on your ring and when you go out pool swimming the chlorine in the water can also affect the look of your precious jewels.
Even the lotion your wear, hand oils, body cologne, hair and body spray and other cosmetic products can contribute to the diminishing brilliance of jewelry items. And not to mention the scratches and scrubs on your jewelries, that are brought about by different activities, can ultimately make your jewelries don’t look like jewelries anymore.
Jewelry cleaners are on top of the many solutions. There are other practical cleaning tips that you use such washing and brushing, but be cautioned though, wrong use of home jewelry cleaners like soap may not work effectively. In some cases however you may use ordinary dish soap to clean your jewels.
Cleaning gold jewelry can be made inexpensive by just using a kitchen dish washer detergent. To do this, create soap mix in a basin, pour in lukewarm water and sufficient amount of liquid or past dish washer detergent. Place your gold jewelries in the basin and let it stay for five minutes. Then, by using a clean and flexible-bristled brush, clean the jewelries thoroughly. Rinse them well and dry off with clean cloth.
Diamonds are indeed forever but they still need cleaning. Like cleaning gold jewelries, cleaning diamond jewelry can also be made simple. You can drop your diamonds in a jewelry cleaning shop, but once in a while you can use a specific jewelry cleaner you can buy in jewelry stores and treat your diamonds by cleaning it yourself.
The easiest way to clean diamonds is by using diamond cleaning dip solutions. These are diamond cleaners that are widely available in stores. This approach however needs careful execution and handling. Do not make skin contact with the diamond after it gets soaked in the diamond dip to prevent skin oil from spoiling the cleaning process. Make sure to let it dry totally, afterwards, keep it in the jewel box.
The ultrasonic jewelry cleaner are also making waves in jewelry cleaning. It uses special liquid and a device that creates ultrasonic waves. The waves will then create tiny bubbles that penetrate into tiny holes and openings in jewelries. Ultrasonic jewelry cleaners are by far very effective as compared to ordinary jewelry cleaning.
There are still other jewelry cleaners that you can use to make it more convenient to clean your jewelries. You can use an ordinary dish washer detergent, a dip solution or ultrasonic cleaners. Just remember though that different jewelry items need specific cleaning needs. Keep your jewelries clean and chic all the time.
